Well the stocking need to be unhung without care and shoved into a box until next year!

Well it has come to that time of the year where everything doesnt seem so pretty and shiney anymore, but messy and cluttered and the need for normal has returned. I am hoping today will be the day I can get a bunch of things done. It seems to be my sole job to undue the festities every year...UGGG! I wish there was a service I could call and they would come and un christmas the house...I dread taking down the 100's of decorations we have, wrap each one up and put away for the next 11 months! But it will not get done by itself, I am hope my neck feels better today...short story went to the dentist on monday flinched so bad i re injured an old injury, alieve and a heating pad have been my best friend. Then I can complete this daunting task...

Christmas was good as always, the girls were Merry and Bright! I think I got almost everything right...I always hate the feeling after its over...uggg all that planning and preping for that one day...then its over in a few hours. I can't beleive how fast 2009 came and went...Here's to a bright and happy New Year ... bring on 2010!!!

Have a great New Year everyone!!!

Whatcha reading....

OMGOSH...definitly not a light read...I am more than half way through, I dont want to put it down but i also hate teh places it takes me too as a Mom of girls. This is a real ride of a book. It takes you to many levels of emotions. It will be intresting to see how the book plays out on the big screen. I would imagine I will be done this book today. I didnt want to put it down last night but I just had too! Thus far i would highly reccomend this book...It really grabs you in and stirrs up emotions. I love the way the author writes the book from the prespective of Susie Salmon...and she watchs life unfold and take it toles on those she has touched from heaven. I can easily say this might be my new favorite book...

18.12.09

books I read this month...

So the first I read was Sleeping Arrangements...Slightly predictable, although there was a twist but i was far off. I t was an easy read done in less than a day. about 300 pages only. It kept my mind occupied. I found it easier to get into than Her shopaholic series under her other pen name. I was hoping for more grit and rawness that was totally kept G rated but it was good enough and served it purpose.

Cocktails for Three...Was a bit slow starting also extremely predictable with a slight twist. I feel like I could really just copy and paste the review. No grit but not the story line for it. A very settling ending leaves you satisfied...like a pretty good cup of coffee! Also a quick read same amount of pages. I have had these books from a friend for over 2 years i think and finally I polished them of in a mere 2 days sitting.

Don't get me wrong they were not bad, they were a light read that kept you hanging on but there is really nothing to digest...which at Christmas is pretty perfect type of read! So there is my two cents!

Hello...

I can't believe I have not blogged in over three weeks...EEKK! Just no time this past while. But the clients have slowed down and 50% are on holidays so it makes it a bit easier to catch up!

The girls are down to 4 more days left of school, which is just wonderful as this means i have no reasons to think up sac lunch ideas for over 14 days! Lovely! The girls Christmas party and concerts have nearly wrapped up for the year, they have just 2 left!

They are very eagerly awaiting the the arrival of the big guy...although...Trina is a bit beside herself and she feels we just dont get way she NEEEEDDSSS am IPOD touch. Our problem with this is, she is sloppy and doesnt take care of things...we can picture already...the Ipod be smashed on her floor when someone steps on it...or being lost or left on the school bus...for the most part she is very responsible but my 11 year old just isn't ready for a $200 ipod. Chloe hopes Santa brings her a HotWheels dinosaur race track! :)

We had our Curling christmas party...a great time as always! This weekend we have our first Christmas exchange, and the girls will enjoy a sleepover and cookie baking with thier Auntie Karen while i make a quick trip to Grand Forks to pick up Kevin's Christmas present and since I am gonna be there anyways I miswell stop at Bath and body...Hee Hee and the few others perhaps! :)

Monday we will have a baking marathon here with the girls and 2 of their friends..I cant wait! The 23 we will attending the opening night of Chimpunks 2 the squeakel!! Chloe is Very Excited! then before you know it, it's Christmas eve...which means...Church then yummy chinesse food...read twas the night before Christmas put out cookies and milk then the kiddies head to bed.

Just thought I would give you an idea of what the next week and a half has in store for the Cayer's! Enjoy the holidays everyone...From our house to yours...Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

27.11.09

friday again already???

I can't believe how quick the week has gone by, It's seems like just yesterday, I was counting down to Vegas, been home almost 3 weeks. Then was the New Moon count down, it's been a week already???

I am a little afraid, I am really prepared for Christmas...I only have a few gifts left to buy, I am more than 50% wrapped up. The Christmas cards will be finished and put in the mail by the end of the weekend, YIKES...It always causes me concern when I am this prepared...LOL

I mean dont get me wrong, I try to be organized and such but WOWZERS...I am really prepared this year. I actually feel like I am in control for once and not just here for the ride. It is a powerful feeling! If only I could feel this passionate about get the laundry under control...LOL

I hope everyone has a great weekend and enjoy those around you and give thanks for the small things!

Thanksgiving...

Thankful Thursday falls on the best day...Thanksgiving! My house smells like yummy turkey and stuffing, yes I am aware I am canadian...but I am so thankful we celebrate it tiwce in our house.

I wasn't gonna do it this year, I didnt realize how much my family loves it. My hubby says to me so...are you makign turkey tomarrow for thanksgiving? I replied with I can if you guys want and it was an overwhelming response for me too...so I happily agreed!

In yrs past, I would take the girls out of school and I would call in sick. We would make cookies and watch the Macy's Day Parade. But this year I sent the girls to school and PVR'd the macy's day parade and choose to eat dinner and watch the parade while Kevin watchs football! Maybe next year we will return to the past tradition....Only time will tell.

Happy Thanksgiving To all and Enjoy your family and Friends and make sure they all know how much you really care and love them! Be blessed!

Chloe...aka..Jenette "Chipette" Miller

I have offically heard everything...I think.

So for those of you who are unaware, I am not the only Cayer who has obsessions. We all do. Chloe has been very in to Alvin and the Chipminks for a very long time, year and a half perhaps. Well today she made an offical announcement...

" My name is no longer Chloe, my name is...Mommy, what's the chipette's name that wears glasses just like me?" I respond with Jenette, she says... "Thats right Mommt!!!...I knew you would know my real name...."

I love that she has so much confidence in me!! Again...These are the things that make it all worth it!!! Go hug a kid, They'll love it!!!

24.11.09

Pure Joy....

Things that brought me joy this past weekend....

1. New Moon.

2. Watching it with Katrina and her 2 best buds, blushing like crazy when my nearly 11 year old screammed louder than any other when jacob was shirtless.

3. Putting up my Christmas Tree.

4. Scrapbooking and watching Vampire Diaries with Nik.

5. Nola's Peanut butter cup cakes.

6. Chloe's fever breaking.

7. My new Snowman holiday picture from my Mom.

8. Wearing only a hoodie in November!!

Things that did not give me pure joy...

1. Being squished and dragged by 100's of screaming girl all trying to get into New Moon.

2. The silly placed pole I slightly hit trying to get out of the banks parking lot.

3. The cost of Popcorn at the movies.

4. The laundry I still choose not to do, but complained yet again when I had nothing to wear.

5. The crabby sales lady @ my favorite scrapbooking store!

6. Tween Attitude

7. Jimmy Johnson winning the Sprint Cup yet again!

8. Falling asleep while watching tv and then waking up grumpy!

19.11.09

I finished a scrapbook

I did it! In 7 years a task i could never complete! I completed my ABC's of disney. I love it, it is a 8 x 8 album, made it super quick and easy. It was much easier to sort through thousands of pict with an agenda. I love it! Will add pics soon!

This is me and my very cute, now 30 year old hubby. This was our first night in Vegas, We checked in freshened up and went directly to Maragritaville, a Jimmy Buffett line of eatery's which are super fun. We ate good, drank 60 bucks worth of buckets o beer, and dance to Jesse's girl!! It was so fun!! It htink i would then just visit maragritaville 4 more times, handy it was in our hotel...LOL

This is a a photo of me infront of the hotel sign where we stayed. I loved our hotel. Donny and Marie were our headlining show, I wanted to see it so bad, but it was sold out the whole time we were there.

I hope this is formating correctly, I am trying to do picture then caption and so on...if not sorry..that what I was trying to do...scroll up and down...LOL

Next photo is a shot of Paris, I would love to stay there, I so wanted to go to the top and catch a veiw but we just ran out of time. Hard to budget everything in when you travel in a group. There was a resturant ant the bottom called mon ami gabby, it was situated right acrossed from the Billagio, which has the fountain show...that resturant id on the top of my to do list next time.

The next photo is of me and Jeff Gordon, we went to Madame Tuxsaudeswax museum, it was so much fun! some of the wax people are amazing!! there was onlt like 3 out of like 200 that look chessey!

just a little glimpse! I promise a few more...there are only 5000...LOL

17.11.09

New Moon

3 more sleeps everyone, it's only 3 more sleeps away! I remember when the count down was 150 sleeps and now we are a mere 3 sleeps away! Team Edward( me and a few other lucky gals) is present and accounted for and will be chauffering the team Jacob (Trina and her pack) to and from the Movie as well. Team Edward will win I have no fear...LOL I am their ride home...hee hee! Just saying! Just think...225 more sleeps until June 30, 2010 and Eclispe will be here! Happy counting down!

Funny how I am a 31 year woman and I count down to things more than any child I know...LOL I will never grow apparently :)

12.11.09

Well...I am back!!

That was the quickest 6 days of my life. It is amazing there, I love how nothing sleeps, encluding the the card flickers. For those of you who have not been to Vegas they are hoards of people giving out porn trading card, which are hooker bussiness cards, they slap them annoyingly then shove them in your face. LOL. The lights glow brightly and sounds never give up. I love it! The city itself is intoxicating, I am clearly counting down to the next trip, to complete my to do list. I LOVE VEGAS!!!

The pure cheesy meets classiness of Vegas it what gets me. I just love it. The best way I can describe it is... It's like a redneck women who dreams to own a Louis Vuiton bag. Speaking of LV, I visted the store, very impressed by the super sales women, whom nearly had me making a very wise investment for my first purchase, a mere 995.99USD would have made me the proud mother to a very cute LV hand bag, it was double stitched and a everything, did you know your LV hand bag has a life time satisfation claimer when you buy it, as long as the inside is in good shape you just bring it in and BANG hello new LV hand bag! Needless to say but I am not a new invester this time...But the cute Kate Spade bag for $295, seemed like a steal after that...LOL

I saw a few shows while there, not as many as i would have liked, but leaves something to do the next time I go back! We finally saw Leanne Rimes, the last two or three times we were to see her she was a no show but she did not disappoint, she showed up and put on a good show! I am glad Nik finally got to see her, she loves her! I was very pleased with the show. Unlike the Blueman group which I hated!! I fell alsleep shortly after they began spitting capt'n Crunch at the audiance. THat was more than enough for me only to be woke but hoards of massive rolls of toilet paper being dumped on my head, which you had to push forward. Had I been a man or young child the grossness of the show may have had some appeal but for this girl, I just want the show to be over and wished I had put that 70 bucks to better use, like investing in LV...lol

The hotel was nice, but to our dsimay they shut the heat off in the pool as off Nov 1 and close the area everday at 4 pm so we definitly didn't get much use of the area. I am sure in the summer it is beautiful! We had a Go room one night, very fun, the mirrors on the celing were a little wacky as the purpose of mirrors on a celing was lost by the gaudy 70's lights incased in the fixture...lol I love the TV in the mirror in the bathroom...Nice touch! We then were relocated to our regular room which was not as flashy but I quite enjoyed having a lounge area in our room so all in all the veiw not as nice as it was from the 25th floor but the space made up for it!

I loved the Treasure Island's free outdoor Call of the Siren's show! Fabulous!! Chessy and completely unapproperiate for kids, thank goodness they couldn't get the jokes and only really get the basic story line...My favorite line was "I love salty seamen"...LMAO Only in Vegas!!! :) One of the many reasons I will not be bringing the girls to Vegas, ever perhaps! The fountain show @ the Belaggio was amazing, The first complete show I saw was to Viva Las Vegas, which couldn't be more perfect for me...I love Elvis!! Beautiful!

Well there was so much to see so much to do and I didnt even clear half of the to do list but it's all the more reason to go back!! I dont know when, I think I know where, but the count down and the penny saving has begun!! I will post pic's very soon!

3.11.09

Viva Las Vegas Baby!!

Well the time has arrived! Tomarrow at this time, I will be on my way to the airport bound for Las Vegas! This is a picture of the hotel we will be staying at teh pool side I will be hanging out at. So i will be out of the blog world, but know I will be be having a blast and I will fill you al in when I ge back.

1.11.09

Happy Halloween Everyone!!

There is my girls all dressed up ready for the candy fest, but first wee need to get a quick jump in!!! I love watching them play and just be kids, there is nothing more precious then being an innocent sweet child. I love them more every day! Have a Super Sunday everyone!

So Mandy K. at the Roblin Branch with TD Canada Trust I am thankful to you!!!

Reading...

Dont' get me wrong, the book is wonderful! I have been reading this book since late July, It's just not a book I can curl up with and not be so far gone I can't do anything else, like Twlight was.

I can only cry so much then I need a brake. I read this book between drop off and pick ups of kids activities. I love the wayt he book is written from the Anna's perspective mainly, with brief changes of character persective through out. I am only around the 150 page mark...I know terrible...but atleast I am reading.

Novemeber 20th....

The long wait is nearly over. It's been a long long wait for this movie. I love this series of books, as much as i love my hubby. I read all for books in 2 weeks and I long for more to be written. I have easily watched Twlight, more than 100 times. I can't wait for New moon to open. I am going to buy my tickets this weekend. After much debate and thought, I choose to let Katrina read twlight and New Moon, but thats it she has to wait until she is 14 for the other two, So she is very excited to know she gets to go see it with me. I was afraid she would love Edward too, and that a love triangle I was not willing to have with my 10 year old. I was worried for nothing, she loves Jacob... Which is a much better fit for her anyways...LOL

I am fully aware that everyone who loves Twlight/Edward is clearly the biggest fan in their eyes, I am clearly not one upper so Ladies I fully beleive WE ALL are the biggest fans...I know this is true because Stephaine Meyers is a VERY rich women because of all of us! So to all of my twlight loving friends...Here's to US!!!

THE WAIT IS NEARLY OVER......

27.10.09

Me and my big winnings @ Scrapaganza!! Don't worry i full apprieate the value of my prize. ( inside joke ** a lady came up to me after I won it and said, I put all my tickets into that prize, I hope you apprieate it **)that's what she said I swear!! I can't even make this crap up...hee hee (who says thT???)

P Sherman 42 Wallaby Way ....

My Little Dory! This is the costume my mom had made for Trini when she was 4, now Chloe has got to the stage where she loves Finding Nemo, and wanted to be Dory! Clearly the halloween theme in our house is Movie Characters!

You're the one that I want....

My Sandy!!! Here she is all ready for the BIG pre teen dance...the biggest night of her tween life!! She had so much fun, I was glad she could go! Best quote of the night, 11:30pm, "oh mommy i just can't sleep i can't stop thinking about how fun tonight was." I instintly was taken back to my preteens going to the underage clubs and pre teen dances too! I knew exactly what she meant and felt, at that moment. She is really growing up and I can't stop it. I just hope I have given her the right tools to guide her through the next rough 8 years. Welcome to the Future!

My poor Timmy's

Here we stood with our Tim Hortons, trying to keep warm when I put mine down for one second and bang..death to my Timmy's. Hee Hee! Nola accidently kicked it over, she felt terrible...I just thought this was a funny photo opt to remember of scrapaganza...

Went scrapbooking....

On saturday, it was fun! Here is how the day went up @ 530 am, out the door by 645 am, TIM HORTONS in hand drive to Stonewall mb...For SCRAPAGANZA...to get some early bird deals and get in line to ensure a table with my scrappy pals. Fun day...so much food it was rediculous! I swear we were eating ever 2 hours...good food! I scrapped more disney, that nagging Disney book...lol but i started a new one just to refresh the ideas. The ABC's of disney, I really like it. I have done it in an 8x8, and I am really flying through it! I am already at L, one more crop and I should be done. Most exciting part of the day....I won a sizzix BIG SHOT with atleast $200, in dies and embosing folders whooo hooo! I say it was a mighty fine day! After tehy called my number I swear it felt like I was running down the stairs at the price is right...LOL High 5's for everyone!!!

Chloe's Glass's

We found out on Monday that Chloe will need corrective lenses to fix 2 astigmatism, So we went shopping at a few different places and these are the winner! Chloe looks so cute in them. I was feeling bad she needed glasses, laying in bed that night I was a bit upset and I was talking to to kevin about it, I was like I made her wrong, I have ruined her chance to ever be a pilot...Kev said... dont worry hunny, I am pretty sure she wasn't gonna be a pilot, I responded with I know but I but I have limited her options...Kev says...dont be silly it was in her genes your just the carrier God wiouldn't give her this if he didnt know she couldn't handle it!!

Such a smart man! Honestly, He is the only one who makes me see sense sometimes. Glad he is mine!

On Saturday, we were thrown a surprise Anniversary Party...It was so fun! Super awesome Hosts,(I think you know who you are) who didnt forget a thing! My In-laws even had napkins from our wedding on the table! How great is that??? It was so nice to see people we havent seen in years! It was especially special to have Dana and her family there and Trevor and his family, they are both Dh's cousins who were in our wedding. Terrible but we hadn't seen them in a few years, so it was nice to be able to hang and get re aquainted. It was also especially nice to reinstate the once a month dinners with them. When we were all younger we used to get together with Dana and her lil' family every month for dinner, alternating hosts. It had long gone my the wayside but after spending the night yacking desided we couldnt come up with a good reason to not start it back up...So November 28 begins our tradition once again.

We are very blessed to have had so many people come out in honour of us! It really makes you feel loved and appriciate your family and friends.

Just to tell you about the snapshot here...kevin calls it my 1- tequilia 2- tequilia 3- tequilia floor shot...LOL I am not fully aware my there must always be tequilia envolved whenever I am somewhere in the contexted of the event, never the less I missed the memo ... but love it jsut the same...hee hee. Glad those events dont happen often...LOL

It was so nice to have Kevin's grandpa(pepre) there, I only found out during the party he was supposed to be in TO with his wife, but desided to let her go solo and he got to come to our party...woo hoo!

old friends and new were there to ring in a wonderful evening, Thank you everyone for taking time out of your busy life to celebrate with us!!! We Love you all!

It was the best night I have had in a long time!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Btw...thanks hunny for 10 great years!

the day i turned 30

I know it was nearly a year and a half ago, but in honour of my hubby who is about to turn the BIG 3-0, I thought I would share the memories I had of the day I turned 30.
30, was a slight adjustment, I was no longer 20, but getting closer to the magic age of 40, I can't wait until i turn 40, in my mind i have this vision of waking up and life just begining @ 40! no idea where this came from. I was afraid to be 30 as I was no longer in my 20's, which really my 20's are like my friends 30's. We didnt wait to start our family until we were well establishedand in our30's, We started early & married young, I actually never had those wild and fun 20s you see in movies, perhaps this is why I want to be 40 so bad, my kids will 20 and 15. Not as needy and I wont feel guilty having fun without them any longer.
My only wish was to go to the Mall of America, I wanted to take my girls to my favorite mall in the whole wide world. It's my happy place! Kevin had never exprienced MOA or Ikea either so it was a ground breaking weekend for 2 out of the 4 Cayer's!(technically Katrina and Chloe had both been there, I took Katrina to see Kenny Chesny @ the mall when she was 4 and I was a wee bit preggers for Chloe although totally didnt know) We hit the road early and were eating at yuumy Babba Gumps by 5. It was a great day! Also...not to mention the world greatest present...A ticket to the reunion tour of the New Kids on the BLock , which I have seen twice now. Bonus*** it meant another trip back to the MOA, this time with my partner in crime! 30 was a stellar year!!!
31 has been fine.... Look forward to 32! Back to original thought...Hun being 30 rocks!! Don't even waste another second on it...seriously Dude you get to turn 30 in Vegas, ther is no better way for you to turn 30!!! i <3>

Concerts...habbit or hobby???

Keith Urban was the last concert Nik and i went to. It was Fan-fricken-tastic!!! He truely puts on a show my fellow bloggers! I love when you you feel the emotions an artist is feeling when they sing a song. I loved his aucoustic(sp- I know fry me later) sets and his crowd interaction!

One thing that is a complete deal breaker is when they jam on way too long...Dude we know you can rock...I paid to her you sing...We were almost at the point where I was like...R U kidding me...then he turned on the good tunes and rocked' em just enough!

I was surprised at how old he loooked. I mean he definitly would not be thrown out of bed for eating crackers or anything but in photos and such he always looked very polished. I loved the simple imprefections, it made him seem real and very human!

I love LOVE love going to concerts. I am sure my net worth would be considerably much higher, if it wasn't so FUN and addicting. There is nothign liek the rush you get when the reason why you are there hits the stage, I posed the statement like that as it is not always the main act you love the most, I love it! The second you her the guitare lick to your favorite song...chills. I love it!

I post a challenge...name someone...I bet I have seen them...More of a Country fan but I definitly listen to a wide range and have seen many people...some time the same person 8 times...LOL

15.10.09

My wiggle Crush

I Love Anthony Wiggle!

Mall Cops ...

Have you seen this show??? It's great! It follows the Mall Cops @ Mall of America. What can be better then watching a show about my Favorite mall???? Seriously...I always thought it was a pretty uneventful place....Clearly not! Harmless Fun! This episode was about Demi Lavatto at the mall....I wish i knew she was there...So would have taken the girls...even if it was just to ride the escaltor up and down to get a view!

I love Anthony Wiggle...

Today is the day my chloe has been waiting for...The Wiggles go bananas!!!! I am not sure what it is but after hours and hours of watching wiggles and children shows you start to see some characters in a different light...Anthony Wiggles would be my secret crush...LOL!

Having trouble posting pics but will update the photos soon!

Have a great day!

14.10.09

Well...it's snowing...again

I am not quite sure what to make of the every day occurance that we call snow. Yesterday I was in a festive mood and liked it today, I am not liking it and would rather not have to see it!

Dear Snow....please go away! Love your fickle friend Laura

A happy Late Thanksgiving EVERYONE/ Thoughful Tuesady

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! I had one of the best weekends this past weekend! Good food, good company and a GREAT ANNIVERSARY!!! We had so much fun this weekend. I want to thank everyone who was apart of it! There was so many of you! Thanks!

So with that being said, what is with all the snow...YIKES! We decorated for HALLOWEEN, the house looks very festive. I love the holidays, any of them! I love fall, because you know it's only a matter of a few weeks until the halloween comes down and christmas goes up! I finish a few more Christmas projects this weekend! They are looking lovely. I will post later, pics on other puter!

The final count down is on until Vegas Baby! 21 more sleeps until I leave this snow and ice behind for the heat the Vegas Strip. I can't believe the time has already come.

I am very excited to go but also sad, unfortunitly due to my schedualing error, it also falls on my Mom's Graduation From University! But I will be with her in spirt and I hope she know just how very proud of her, I am. She is a great example of you can do anything if you put your mind to it! Went back to school when she was in her 40's and now she has a great career (that she has always wanted) and a University degree with a bunch of letters beside her name! Great example for all her grand babies! Way to go mom!

Well, Enjoy your Tuesday Everyone and don't forget to give someone a hug and tell them jus thow much they mean to you today! Happy Thoughful Tuesday!

**Back ground on Thoughtful Tuesday** We have conversational theme for everyday in our house, well the girls and I do and as we do our morning tasks we talk about whatever falls on that day. Chloe once asked why dont we celebrate something everyday mommmy, so in response I said because there just isnt enough holidays to celebrate everyday hunny. So in turn she said mommy, you think of lots of good ideas, maybe you could think of special things everyday so then we can have cupcakes everyday!

So taking a que from Twitter's thankful Thursday I thought of simple joys to celebrate everyday between me and the girls that we can share with others, so everyday is a celebration in our hearts...someday with cupcakes ans many without...LOL

Monday is--- Memory Monday--Think of a great memory and share it!!
Tuesday is -- Thoughtful Tuesday-- do something thoughfulfor someone today!!
Wednesday is -- Warm and Fuzzy Wednesday--Do a RAC (random act of Kindness)
Thursday is --Thankful Thursday--Talk about what you are thankful for and send a thanks!
Fridays is-- Friendly Friday--Try to meet one new person and nurture the ones you have.
Saturday is--Silly Saturday--Laugh alot today!
Sunday is--Super Sunday-- Have a super day no matter what you do!

10 great years!

This time 10 years ago today I was at the Hair Salon getting my hair all ready for the biggest day of my life, My wedding day! I can't believe it has already been 10 years! Thay have been the quickest years of my life! I think it is fitting to get married on thanksgiving weekend, because your anniversary will always on the most thankful weekend of the year, with all your family with you really if it wasn't for all of them, where would our thankfulness begin.

I am truely thankful that some divine act, thatI fought the whole way, I was brought to Winnipeg, where I met the greatst guy ever. although, I know we are both not perfect and have our days, we clearly were meant to be!

He has given me a million reasons to be thankful but the best two are Katrina and Chloe! Thank you! It's funny, I often make fun of the song Thank you, by Johnny Reid(I will annoyingly sing your welcome) but I truely understand where he is comeing from with the loving lyrics.

Happy 10th Wedding Anniversary, Babe! I will love for forever, and then just a bit longer to
make sure I loved you the most! ;)

The heat is on...

The strike is over so I put the heat on! Finally...there is no real need to put on 3 layers of clothing in my house anymore...LOL This is a wonderful day and i am so thankful that the strike is over! I want to thank everyone who kept us in their thoughts and prayers! thanks a million!

I totally forgot how nice and warm it is to go the tanning bed, I loved every minute of those glorious 10 minutes of heat and quiet, if you dont count the surrounding fans...LOL

Have a great night everyone!! I can't believe that tomarrow i will have been married for 10 years!!!

Crazy Chilly...

It is so chilly in my house! Yikes, but with Hydro being on strike, DH's employer, I have refused to put my heat on, silly I know but it is my stand against the man...LOL But the temp is down to 18 in here, I think I might have to break down and trun it in. If only the rain would stop so we could get those air condtioners out.

So tomarrow is mine and my hubby's 10 year wedding anniversary...What to do, what to do. I know he has nothing special or secretive planned cause that is just not like him so i am always left up to the planning of everything. Any ideas???

This was a sketch challenge that I forgot about and when the final warning was announced I had like 10 minutes left to do. Good thing I had an idea of the pictures I had brought, and thank goodness for the ladybug stuff I have been toting around for nearly a year...I knew it would come in handy sooner or later!! NOt to shabby for 10 minutes worth of work!

Work in Progress

These are the first to completed layouts for My daughters Jr High book. I have choosen to use the line and embelishment from Making memories line Just Chllin' girl/boy lines. I hvae used CoreColour Card stock in most layout but have also used some Bazzil cardstock as well.
I have really been into premaking album lately. then i know what I need photos of and can just go from there. Gives me the chance to get those MUST have shots plus the flexiablity to add more layouts if need but if not a nice easy way to keep things up-to-date, by pre planning.

Items I have been working on....

Theses are the star shaped chip board mini albums I made for the girls Teachers for Christmas. The one album is Basic Grey`s Figgy Pudding line. The embelishments are all assorted. I love the way it turned out. I have only shown the one side, but the are double sided. The other album I used Fancy Pants Christmas line...which I cant even remember the name of...How bad is thet...LOL Also assorted embleishments.

Well...what to do today???

Tying to figure out what to make today @ craft time? I am thinking a Thankful Tree. While on that topic I thought we could do a fun exercise...Ladies are you ready...I want you to add a comment as to what and why your THANKFUL for something/someone.

I am THANKFUL for......

I am THANKFUL for Parents!! I have the best set of Parents and In-Laws!!! They are so very thoughtful and generous and caring and loving! I am glad that My parents gave me the tools that i need to be the best person I can be, everyday! I'm so thankful to Kevin's parents for making him the man he is today!!! I am Blessed!

My 3 reasons to better every day!!

This is my little family! I never knew, you could love anything as much as i do them! Everything i do, I do it for them. I think the lyric's to Eric Church's song "I love your love the most" sums it up, all to well for me! I love alot of things, but its that unconditional love you recieve from those who mean the most that makes you Love them the most!!

My World...

These are my girls! I love them more than anything!!! They are all the reasons I need to get up every day! My Trina-belle...my drama queen!!! Chloe Bear...my princess tomboy!! They, I know it's cliché, Complete Me!!!

My dream

To own a Scrapbooking Store with Nik!!! To do something you love for a living with someone you love equally...who wouldn't want that dream! She is the best sidekick anyone could ask for. I love that she can finish my thoughts and I can just say one word and she knows what I am talking about. Watch out...WE are the Cranium Champions of the WORLD!!! Friendship like ours is rare and I am glad for it! It makes you realize just what a precious gift it is! There isn't anything I wouldn't do for her!!!

My hubby says I have too much time on my hands...

My hubby thinks I have to much time on my hands if I feel I need a blog. I think he has to much time on his hands since he is in 3, count them 3, fantasy sport leagues. Now who has too much time??? Those who live glass house should throw stones....:)
