Well the stocking need to be unhung without care and shoved into a box until next year!

Well it has come to that time of the year where everything doesnt seem so pretty and shiney anymore, but messy and cluttered and the need for normal has returned. I am hoping today will be the day I can get a bunch of things done. It seems to be my sole job to undue the festities every year...UGGG! I wish there was a service I could call and they would come and un christmas the house...I dread taking down the 100's of decorations we have, wrap each one up and put away for the next 11 months! But it will not get done by itself, I am hope my neck feels better today...short story went to the dentist on monday flinched so bad i re injured an old injury, alieve and a heating pad have been my best friend. Then I can complete this daunting task...

Christmas was good as always, the girls were Merry and Bright! I think I got almost everything right...I always hate the feeling after its over...uggg all that planning and preping for that one day...then its over in a few hours. I can't beleive how fast 2009 came and went...Here's to a bright and happy New Year ... bring on 2010!!!

Have a great New Year everyone!!!

Whatcha reading....

OMGOSH...definitly not a light read...I am more than half way through, I dont want to put it down but i also hate teh places it takes me too as a Mom of girls. This is a real ride of a book. It takes you to many levels of emotions. It will be intresting to see how the book plays out on the big screen. I would imagine I will be done this book today. I didnt want to put it down last night but I just had too! Thus far i would highly reccomend this book...It really grabs you in and stirrs up emotions. I love the way the author writes the book from the prespective of Susie Salmon...and she watchs life unfold and take it toles on those she has touched from heaven. I can easily say this might be my new favorite book...

books I read this month...

So the first I read was Sleeping Arrangements...Slightly predictable, although there was a twist but i was far off. I t was an easy read done in less than a day. about 300 pages only. It kept my mind occupied. I found it easier to get into than Her shopaholic series under her other pen name. I was hoping for more grit and rawness that was totally kept G rated but it was good enough and served it purpose.

Cocktails for Three...Was a bit slow starting also extremely predictable with a slight twist. I feel like I could really just copy and paste the review. No grit but not the story line for it. A very settling ending leaves you satisfied...like a pretty good cup of coffee! Also a quick read same amount of pages. I have had these books from a friend for over 2 years i think and finally I polished them of in a mere 2 days sitting.

Don't get me wrong they were not bad, they were a light read that kept you hanging on but there is really nothing to digest...which at Christmas is pretty perfect type of read! So there is my two cents!

Hello...

I can't believe I have not blogged in over three weeks...EEKK! Just no time this past while. But the clients have slowed down and 50% are on holidays so it makes it a bit easier to catch up!

The girls are down to 4 more days left of school, which is just wonderful as this means i have no reasons to think up sac lunch ideas for over 14 days! Lovely! The girls Christmas party and concerts have nearly wrapped up for the year, they have just 2 left!

They are very eagerly awaiting the the arrival of the big guy...although...Trina is a bit beside herself and she feels we just dont get way she NEEEEDDSSS am IPOD touch. Our problem with this is, she is sloppy and doesnt take care of things...we can picture already...the Ipod be smashed on her floor when someone steps on it...or being lost or left on the school bus...for the most part she is very responsible but my 11 year old just isn't ready for a $200 ipod. Chloe hopes Santa brings her a HotWheels dinosaur race track! :)

We had our Curling christmas party...a great time as always! This weekend we have our first Christmas exchange, and the girls will enjoy a sleepover and cookie baking with thier Auntie Karen while i make a quick trip to Grand Forks to pick up Kevin's Christmas present and since I am gonna be there anyways I miswell stop at Bath and body...Hee Hee and the few others perhaps! :)

Monday we will have a baking marathon here with the girls and 2 of their friends..I cant wait! The 23 we will attending the opening night of Chimpunks 2 the squeakel!! Chloe is Very Excited! then before you know it, it's Christmas eve...which means...Church then yummy chinesse food...read twas the night before Christmas put out cookies and milk then the kiddies head to bed.

Just thought I would give you an idea of what the next week and a half has in store for the Cayer's! Enjoy the holidays everyone...From our house to yours...Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!
